Effective date: October 26, 2026. DuoComic is a local-first reader. This policy explains what data it handles — and what it never touches.
What we do not collect
We do not collect or upload your book files, reading progress, library contents, or browsing history.
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
No account or sign-up is required to use any feature.
Where your data lives
Books and progress: stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, your library records and reading progress sync between your own devices through your own iCloud account; the developer cannot access them.
Remote library credentials: passwords you enter for SMB / WebDAV / OPDS libraries are stored only in the device Keychain and are excluded from iCloud sync. They are never sent to the developer or any third party.
Network connections: the app talks directly to servers you configure yourself (your NAS, the OPDS service you enter). No traffic passes through the developer's servers.
Feedback form
When you submit a report through the feedback page on this website, what you write — along with the app version, OS version, and device model you confirm for submission — is sent to the developer solely to diagnose the problem. It is not used for any other purpose and is not shared with third parties. Your contact email is used only to reply to your report.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes in a material way, the update will be posted on this page with a new date. For privacy questions, contact the developer through the feedback page.
